Community Partnership Brings ‘The Wiz’ to KCK

When KCK youth and adults in “The Wiz” took the stage at Washington High School this summer to tell that story of friendship, family and the universal power of home, they also learned how participating in theatre can teach those same ideals. And thanks to KCKPS’s partnership with the Kansas Academy of Theatrical Arts and Kristi's Academy of Dance, community theatre was able to find a home right here in Wyandotte County.
